Maine is One of the Best States for Hiking the Outdoors
No matter your skill level, Maine’s trails promise an unforgettable experience, making the state a must-visit destination for hiking, trekking, serenity, and nature exploration.
With trails being such a big part of life here in Maine, I became curious about which ones are the most popular. So, we decided to put together a list of some of the state’s best.
But there was one catch: we omitted every trail from Maine’s two most well-known locations—Acadia National Park and Baxter State Park. Nothing against them, of course, but we wanted to highlight some of Maine’s hidden gems that absolutely deserve more attention.
