Maine Is In The Top 5 For Places To Visit In The Whole Wide World

The travel website Lonely Planet has chosen 2020's best places on Earth to travel to.

This beautiful place we call home landed at the very impressive position of No. 4 on Lonely Planet's Top Regions list.  

They noted on the best-of list that "the love for ‘Vacationland’ will reach fever pitch as Maine celebrates its bicentennial."

Lonely Planet also points out our wicked good food and beer saying "The culinary scene has exploded in recent years, and you’ll find farm-to-table restaurants, coffee roasters, artisanal bakers and craft brewers all across the state."

So us Mainers gotta make sure to savor all the time we have to ourselves from now until Memorial Day before the deluge of tourists returns.

Looks like 2020 is gonna be a huge year for visitors from all over spending vacation time in Vacationland.
