Maine School Teachers Record Brady Bunch Parody for Students
I've said it before and I'll say it again. Teachers absolutely, unequivocally and wholeheartedly LOVE the students that they serve. Here again we find another amazing example of teacher dedication and video chat ingenuity.
The creative staff at Otisfield Community School wanted to convey to their students just how much they were missing them. So they took to video chatting and some editing software to create this fun and lighthearted rendition of the classic TV theme from the Brady Bunch. Check it out!
Everywhere you turn, especially in Maine, it seems there is another example of teachers showing their incredible love and compassion for students. I think, especially as parents, we become so complacent in the day to day routine that we end up taking our kid's educators for granted. Well, if there's at least one thing this entire pandemic has taught us, it's that though we as parents may not see them everyday, our teachers are always there to help, encourage, teach and cheer-lead for our amazing kids.
So parents, I would urge you, as school (hopefully) resumes this fall, be a bigger part of your teachers life. Send them weekly emails to check in and see how they're doing. Bring them a box of wine at parent/teacher conferences (just kidding, but not really) and overall, more than anything, just try to remind them as frequently as you can, how critically important they are to you, your child, and the future of the communities they serve.
Thank you, Otisfield Community School and thank you teachers!
