Mainers 70+ Are Now Eligible For Vaccination – Here’s Where

Mainers 70 years of age and older could receive their COVID-19 vaccination as early as this weekend.  Here's where.

While you may hear shortly from your healthcare provider, be assured that Phase 1B here in Maine has kicked in, and you can make your own appointment online to be vaccinated against COVID-19 as early as this Saturday, January 23rd.

Be advised that vaccination "slots" are very limited and you must register.

For all Northern Light Healthcare vaccination locations, like EMMC in Bangor, Blue Hill Hospital, Mayo Hospital, Maine Coast Memorial, among others in Newport, Greenville and Pittsfield, go HERE to schedule an appointment if you'd like now.

The Governor's Office has posted a complete list of statewide vaccination sites for those 70 years of age and older that contains all contact information and how to preregister for your vaccination appointment.

Be advised that everything depends on the COVID-19 vaccine supply here in Maine.

So far, vaccinations in Maine have been limited to those who work in healthcare, residents and staff of long-time care facilities, public safety personnel and critical COVID-19 response personnel.

Following vaccinations for those 70 and older, during the months of February, March and April, Mainers 65-69 years of age, adults with high-risk medical conditions and as yet to be determined front line essential workers, will all be eligible for vaccination.
