All Eyes on the Sky As Maine’s Largest Eclipse Gathering Takes Place in Portland [VIDEO]

Monument Square in Portland was the sight for Maine's largest eclipse gathering on Monday. People poured out of local businesses and restaurants to watch and celebrate this amazing celestial event.

With Eclipse Sunglasses impossible to find, our friends at the Portland Public Library saved a few and shared with everyone....the heroes of the day!

Yes, you COULD see the eclipse by making your own shadow!

Ahh yes, the old eclipse through the Cheerios box trick. Or maybe this dude's just snacking....

It was a nice break for office workers to hang out and watch the eclipse on a beautiful day!
