Maine’s Only Dog-Centric Beer Festival is This Weekend in SoPo

Mainers love their pets and they love their beer. Each year these two things come together for Ales for Tales with the Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland.

Grab your furry friend and head to Spring Point Ledge Lighthouse in South Portland for all the fun. The event is this Sunday, June 26th from 2 to 5 pm.

So many of your favorite breweries will be present: Allagash Brewing Company, Austin Street Brewing, Banded Brewing, Bangor Beer Company, Bissell Brothers, Black Pug Brewing, Brickyard Hollow, Definitive Brewing Company, Fore River Brewing Company, Foulmouthed Brewing, Foundation Brewing Company, Goodfire Brewing, Island Dog Brewing, Nonesuch River Brewing, Norumbega Cidery, Olive Pit Brewing and Rising Tide Brewing.

And you can’t have good beer without good eats, right? Smokey & Brines, Mr. Tuna, Totally Awesome Vegan Food Truck, and Zephyr Ice will be there too.

This is obviously a 21+ event and with your ticket, you get 6 8-ounce pours, free parking, and a souvenir tasting cup. Don’t forget your ID and a leash.

Sunday looks like the perfect day to get outdoors with your best furry friend for some food and drinks and to do some good and support the Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland.

Tickets are available for $60 now here. Price goes up to $70 at door during the day of the event.
