My Most Excellent Guided Walking/Brewery Tour in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia
This is me and my guide from Yarmouth Walking Tours, her name is Candace and she is a great story teller! We started off taking "The Eerie & Ominous" walking tour. Candace stopped and told us stories from the dark side of Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. My friend Annie even squealed at one point. Great spooky stories that made us thirsty for beer!
Our walking tour turned into a brewery tour, walking is fun in Nova Scotia :)
The food in Nova Scotia/Acadian Shores is so fresh and everything tastes wonderfully homemade. The poutine at Rudders was the real deal, my Memere would have been proud. It was a quick five and a half hour ferry ride on The Cat Ferry to get here for the weekend.
Nova Scotia and Acadian Shores are going through a huge craft brew growth, lucky for us!
We were actually at the opening of Heritage Brewery when we visited last year. This trip they had just moved to a cool, new location and we happened to show up at their grand opening.
Here is my crew feeling good and ordering beer.
