New Rabies Cases In Brunswick, Vaccinate Your Pets

According to Bangor Daily News and the Brunswick Police Department, there have been 2 people attacked by a rabid fox and 2 dogs attacked by a rabid skunk in Brunswick over the past few days.

If your pet needs to be vaccinated, the Coastal Humane Society in Brunswick offers rabies shots for only ten dollars, along with other important services.

There have been 18 cases of rabies in Maine as of June 14th; 10 in raccoons, five in skunks, and one each in a bat, cat and gray fox.

If you see a wild animal behaving strangely or aggressively, call the police and do not approach it.
