Gee, libraries sure have changed since I was a kid. Walker Memorial Library in Westbrook has turned to a security company to upgrade their cameras in an effort to put a kibosh on a few bad apples. Some folks lacking impulse control are using the library to look at porn and in some cases, exposing themselves and even partaking in inappropriate sexual activity. It was hard not to put an exclamation point at the end of that sentence, but I'm trying to cut back. The Westbrook City Council has approved enhancing the current analog cameras with 11 new digital cameras to increase security.
