If you don't think businesses throughout Maine are going to get creative during these strange times, you better think again.

The Holiday Inn By The Bay in Portland took to Facebook on Wednesday evening to announce something new, a rooftop bar and restaurant that utilizes the top floor of their parking garage for people instead of vehicles.

They're calling it Level 5, and the idea behind transforming the top level of a parking garage into a restaurant/bar was top properly observe physical distancing measures while still offering customers food, drinks and an outdoor experience that locals and visitors crave when in Portland.

The plan is to have a full menu available for patrons with beer and wine offerings as well. For now,  Level 5 will be operational on Fridays and Saturdays from 4pm to 9pm.

Holiday Inn By The Bay also mentioned in their post that visitors to Level 5 could park for free. And because this is essentially a pop-up restaurant/bar, Level 5 will only be accepting cash payment for now.

Level 5 from Holiday Inn By The Bay is the latest example of restaurants in Portland adapting to the current set of rules and regulations.
