Portland PD Wins Battle of the Badges

A battle royale happened over the weekend between the South Portland Police Department and the Portland Police Department. This was bigger than the Battle of the Bridge. THIS was the Battle of the Badges, Badges? Badges? We don't need no stinkin' badges! We just need tacos! Yup, this was competitive eating at it's law-adibing best. And not just any taco but the Taco Gigante at Margarita's. 

The first team that could consume the TWO POUND taco with a crispy foot-long shell- filled with seasoned chicken, ground beef, pork carnitas, bacon, refried beans, Mexican rice, cheese, lettuce, salsa fresca, queso, hacienda and picante sauces, crema, and pickled jalapenos...would be the Battle of the Badges Champion.

And here are your winners from the Portland PD. A good time was had by all. Thanks to our local heroes for always being there for us. All that hard work must work up a huge appetite so both squads deserve all the tacos they want. Nice job boys!
