So what do you when you're the Portland Sea Dogs and you've got an entire summer with no baseball? Well, you take your baseball stadium and you get creative. The Sea Dogs plan to get extremely creative for four days in July, when they transform one of the best minor league baseball stadiums in America into a 9-hole target style golf course.

In a statement released by the team, the target style course will be perhaps the most unique golfing experience available in Maine this summer. Tee boxes will be placed at the skybox level of Hadlock Field and all golfers will receive two shots per hole. Given the current health circumstances, only one golfer is permitted per tee time with some exceptions if playing with family or friends.

This unique golfing experience will take place from July 9th through July 12th. Tee time reservations can be made through the Portland Sea Dogs website. All golfers will receive a commemorative Sea Dogs towel as well as three golf balls with the Portland Sea Dogs logo on it to take home. Additional rules and how the scoring/holes are designed can be found here.

So while there may be no baseball in Portland this summer, there will definitely be some golf for a few days in July. FORE!
