Even President Obama Is Joking About Deflategate
Wow, this Deflategate scandal continues to get bigger and bigger.
The latest to chime in? None other than President Obama himself, who made a joke about the controversy in which the New England Patriots were accused of deflating balls during their AFC Championship Game against the Indianapolis Colts.
While giving a speech in Philadelphia on Thursday, the president couldn't help but comment about the matter:
I want to just remind the New England and Pacific Northwest contingents [that] this is the City of Brotherly Love, so regardless of what you think about Sunday, I want you all to keep it clean."
After that, someone in the crowd made a joke about bringing your own balls, which got a nice laugh.
The Patriots -- and presumably a set of unscathed balls -- will tangle with the Seattle Seahawks in the Super Bowl on Sunday.
