Legendary Red Sox pitcher Pedro Martinez met with fans in Bangor this week, at an event hosted by our sister station 92.9 The Ticket.

Media from across Maine covered the event, where Martinez talked about his love of Boston, New England's passionate sports fans, and his memories on the famous team. For an hour and a half, Pedro took questions from fans at Husson's Gracie Theater, and signed autographs too.

Even though he signed a $54 million contract with the Mets in 2004 and left the Red Sox, Pedro said that his heart always stayed in Boston. Awwwwww..... we miss you too Pedro!

Martinez finished his career with 3,154 strike outs and a 2.93 ERA, according to The Ticket.
