Revis Celebrates Jets Signing on Twitter, Patriots Fans Give Him the Business

Revis signed a five-year, $70 million deal with the Jets yesterday only four hours after free agency began. The deal will reportedly give him $40 million guaranteed.

Patriots fans rejoiced upon hearing the news. Just kidding, they replied to his tweet and gave him the business instead.

Although while I am disappointed the Patriots were unable to get a contract worked out with the BEST CORNERBACK IN THE LEAGUE, I am not shocked this happened.

The Patriots assign a value to every player and will not budge when it comes to spending money. I also don't think Belichick was unprepared for this. The man is never blindsided.

He'll have a plan B. Don't worry.
