This Falmouth Mansion Will Blow Your Mind, Look Inside
One of my favorite sites is realtor.com, and that's where I found this immense and totally extra mansion for sale in Falmouth.
Here is the property description from the site:
"An architectural icon overlooking scenic rolling fields. A floating staircase welcomes guests to an elegant great room designed for grand gatherings and transcendent sunsets. The kitchen, dining, and family room wing features world-class updates and expertly designed intimate spaces. The 1st floor master suite features countless amenities. A billiards room, exercise studio, 4 car garage, and flawless outdoor pool & entertaining area complete the residence. The carriage house hosts 2 additional garage bays & a half-court basketball gym. A one-of-a-kind opportunity, minutes to Falmouth Schools, shopping, and an international airport."
Oh yeah, it costs $2,275,000. That's a lot of numbers. Let me translate, two million two two hundred seventy five thousand dollars. Looks like it's worth it, but it's out of my budget.
I'm about to make your heart race by showing you some amazing interior pictures.
To set the tone, here's the entry...
This is apparently the music room. Look at that woodwork, the barrelled ceiling that brings to mind the interior of a ship and the floor to ceiling windows overlooking blue sky and lush lawn.
This home was built in 1993, boasts 9,269 sq. ft. of living space containing 7 bedrooms and 9 full baths. There's also a half bath, but who's counting.
There are numerous "living areas", I honestly don't know which is considered their true living room so I'll just show you a few ...
The views of the 3.64 acres lot from this space are spectacular.
Here's another living room...
And a Billiard Room. I see you back there, wet bar.
There's also a Great Room.
You can check out all of the rooms at realtor.com.
The kitchen is modern and bright:
The woodwork throughout is astonishing. So much craftsmanship went into this home and the wood tones and stone fireplaces make the huge space feel warm.
There are mulitple areas for dining. I'm not quite sure what to make of this one, but I'm intrigued. It's more of an art installation than a place to eat a bowl of pasta, but I love it.
The bedrooms are very simple, but pretty. Here are a couple, keep in mind there are seven bedrooms.
Outdoor living is on point as well.
Stay in shape by working out in the indoor gym, do laps in the inground pool or shoot some hoops on the basketball court.
I'll be on the lookout for more Maine dream homes to share with you. Stay tuned.
