Never mind about that whole spring thing everyone, local weather experts are calling for a huge storm to crush us this Friday into Saturday.

Sunshine and 50 degree weather...sounds like a taste of paradise, right? Well you should probably keep dreaming about it because it's not going to happen this weekend in southern Maine. Instead, what was once billed as a "plowable snow storm" has morphed into the potential for another smashing from Mother Nature. How much exactly? Anywhere from 1 inch to 16 inches...fill up the snow blowers with gas kids.

But there is a silver lining! Keith Carson has been sharing the GFS model (we don't know what that means) and that particular forecast calls for nothing but a light coating of snow for the Portland area. Maybe 2 inches tops. Cross your fingers.
