As of 8:00 Monday morning, the storm that has slammed Maine with heavy rain and wind gusts near 70 MPH more caused more than 250,000 Central Maine Power customers were without power. Without power, many schools were not able to open today.

The storm should slowly weaken as they day goes on and we might even see the sun just before it sets, but until then we're in for a bumpy ride.
