Meet Tobias.

He is a nearly 3-year-old terrier-pit bull mix who has been at the Kennebec Valley Human Society for almost six months. We're talking 159 days.

This sweet baby is ready for a fun and energetic family to bring him home.

He may not have gotten a Christmas miracle of a forever home, but that doesn't mean he can't get one to kick off the new year.

The Humane Society describes Tobias as a "ladies' man," who knows how to melt hearts. He's also very protective, but warms up quickly once he gets to know you.

Tobias is very active and playful, which is perfect for a family looking for a fun-loving dog. He also loves his toys, so be ready for a house full of them.

The shelter does add that Tobias loves to eat anything, so he sounds like every other dog in the history of dogs. Could you imagine a dog that was picky? I don't think they exist.

Honestly, Tobias sounds like a perfect companion for an active family, especially one with a big yard that's fenced in, as Tobias does tend to chase after smaller animals. He is part terrier, after all.

If you are interested in meeting or possibly adopting Tobias, you can reach out to the Kennebec Valley Humane Society here. He, along with many other pups and animals, is waiting for the perfect person or family to give them the best present of 2023: a forever home.
