Too many drivers in Maine are being too nice while behind the wheel, leading to instances of one specific and very dangerous practice.

It's hard enough to drive in New England during the winter. Please buck this annoying trend that only makes things worse.

Making our communities attractive is essential. There is something to be said for adding creative designs to buildings or streets and this year, Saco has knocked it out of the park with their design on their Main Street Crosswalk.

A large overhaul of the busy intersection involving Congress, High and Free streets is planned for Portland which should improve pedestrian safety.
