Pretty NUTS, right?

In the aftermath of an ugly December storm, people in Portland, Maine, took no chances by waiting in long lines for gas this weekend.

There's a lot of work to be done, and when you take a look at some of the photos that CMP has posted to their Facebook page, you can see that daunting task ahead of these crews.

CMP crews shared photos of some of the destruction from this storm, and it's amazing to see just how much damage these strong winds can cause.

Here are the number of power outages that have been reported to Central Maine Power.

What a surprise for the Holland Power Services crew out of Canada when they stopped at Ken's Place Seafood Restaurant.

Friday's powerful wind and rain storm has utility companies fearing that as many as 200,000 people could lose power in Maine.

As of this morning CMP is reporting about 25,000 people without power while Versant is listing about 5,000.

In pure 2020 fashion, our first winter storm knocked the power out and caused havoc across the state.
