"I didn’t feel exactly right about that," said country icon, who declined possible induction.

They're all worthy, but only a select handful will make it in.

"Even though I am extremely flattered and grateful to be nominated for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, I don't feel that I have earned that right."

Rage Against the Machine, Duran Duran, Beck, Eminem and Dolly Parton are also among the eclectic list of nominees.

Ceremony will air on HBO Nov. 20.
