Wreaths Across America

Wreaths Across America is getting ready to load up and drive from Maine to Arlington National Cemetery with wreaths to be placed on graves in remembrance of those buried there.

Happy 250th birthday to America if all goes as planned for the world's largest flagpole and flag (an American flag, of course). The men behind this venture are the founding family of Wreaths Across America, and want it to be the newest travel destination and park.

Join the Stem to Stone Hybrid Live/ Virtual 5K race in Columbia Falls, Maine on Saturday July 18th. You can run in person following CDC recommendations or participate virtually.

The husband of the executive director of Wreaths Across America owns the wreath company that supplies more than a million wreaths a year, to the tune of more than $10 million.

Shortly after 9 this morning, I stopped at a Dunkin on Route 1 in Scarborough. After I got my egg sandwich and hash browns, I went back out to the car and noticed a parade of police cruisers with blues blaring, headed south.
