The Bats Are Back in Maine
The bats are back in Maine! Well, actually they never went away. Did you know that bats actually hibernate in the winter? And now that it's getting warmer, the beats are coming out of their caves and mines.

According to the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife, we have at least five species of bats in Maine. Many people are wicked scared of bats but we love 'em because they eat hundreds of insects each night, including those nasty black flies!
