The Boston Bruins Fan Fest Tour Coming To Portland In August

The Boston Bruins and NESN have planned out their FanFest tour 2019 to get people hyped for the upcoming NHL season and this year, there will be a stop in Portland, Maine at Payson Park on Friday, August 16th. In fact, Portland will be the very first stop on the entire tour. So what can you expect? Lots, really.

This family-friendly event will include a chance to participate in skills and drills competitions on a synthetic ice rink, a chance to explore and take a selfie inside a mock Bruins locker room, and there will also be chances to join NESN for some virtual reality experiences. Specifically for kids, there will be a face painting zone, a poster making station and a chance to compete at Bruins-themed trivia.

Not only that, each Boston Bruins FanFest always has a host of current Bruins players, coaches and executives that participate. Fans will also get a chance to meet some of their favorite NESN personalities as well.

This event is free but in order to participate in some of the events, you're encouraged to pre-register and fill out a waiver form.

So get ready Portland and get ready Payson Park, the Bruins FanFest is coming on August 16th!
