Probably not. Boo hoo, I know. I now have 2 dozen inedible eggs because I found out too late that you need to refrigerate them right away after hard boiling them. I share this with you so that next Easter fewer eggs will be wasted. Eggs don't grow on trees you know! Sorry to my friends the chickens whose hard work was wasted. Hard boiled eggs actually spoil more quickly than raw ones because they lose their protective coating, allowing bacteria to get through the shell. Easter eggs will stay fresh in the fridge for up to a week, but aren't safe to eat if you leave them out for even a few hours as a decoration. If you do peel an egg, eat it that day!

I think that next year I will stick to Snicker's eggs.
