Seeing Rock Row in Westbrook, Maine develop in recent years has been exciting. As a concert buff, I was particularly intrigued by the now short-lived concert venue.

The space has seen the development of stores like Market Basket, Chick-fil-a, and The Paper Store, and has huge plans to be a true destination with shopping, restaurants, offices, entertainment, and more.

While the outdoor concert venue died a slow and ironically quiet death, the space has brought new opportunities for Rock Row including the outdoor beer garden featuring brews from Smuttynose Brewing in New Hampshire.

Now Rock Row is bringing the thrills, fried dough, animals, games, and more with the first annual Rock Row Summerfest Carnival!

This is going to be a can’t miss family-friendly long weekend. The carnival kicks off on Wednesday, June 15th, and runs through Sunday, June 19th.

The carnival promises a free petting zoo, spectacular rides such as traditional favorites like the Ferris wheel, and Merry Go Round, rides for those seeking thrills, and of course, carnival eats! Wednesday and Thursday guests can buy unlimited ride wristbands to use between 6 and 10 pm, Saturday wristbands can be purchased and used between 2 and 6 pm, and on Sunday between 2 and 7 pm. Friday is Free Ticket Friday where you get 6 extra free rides when purchasing online.
