If you've ever lived or worked in Portland, you know that the daily grind of finding a place to park can wear anybody out. Like cities ten times its size, Portland has a wild number of bizarre parking rules that barely make any sense. Dozens of streets throughout the city restrict parking on certain sides of the road on a given day, some restrict parking for only certain hours. There's 15 minute spots, one hour spots, two hour spots and loading zones to deal with. You can be fined in Portland for parking in a taxi stand or even parking at the wrong angle. (no, we're not making that up) With all those confusing and confounding rules in place, people still generally do a good job not getting fined within city limits. A ticket here or there, sure. But the owner of one particular car has taken it getting ticketed in Portland to an entirely different level.

Shared on Reddit by colty31, the title of this post says it all, "TIME TO MOVE YOUR CAR". A commenter in the thread looked up the ticket history attached to the license plate and it's absolutely astounding. Since the beginning of 2020, the owner of this vehicle has received 62 parking tickets in Portland. At an average of $25 per ticket, this person has spent more than $1,500 in parking fines in just the last 17 months. Going a little deeper, the same person accrued 20 more parking tickets prior to the beginning of 2020.

As you can see in the photo above, the owner has once again piled up enough parking tickets to received a boot and the City of Portland plans to tow the vehicle in the not-too-distant future. We hope they avoid the tow fee and we hope that someone can introduce them to a parking garage or lot that will cost them less than $1500 per year to park. There has to be somewhere.
