The Salvation Army is the single largest provider of social services in the United States and locally the need for their support has never been greater.

People in our communities who never imagined they would be out of work are now waiting for their first unemployment check and are struggling to provide food for their families. The Salvation Army has stepped up to nourish members of our community, but food for their cupboards will run out eventually. If you are able to donate food or to make a monetary donation to purchase it, visit Salvationarmy.org. Cleaning supplies are also in demand.

The Salvation Army offices remain open only by appointment for emergency services, but they are continuing much needed food delivery to our listeners in Maine and New Hampshire.

The Salvation Army continues to provide Meals to Go and to deliver to those in need,  contact your local Salvation Army if you are in need of services.

Please look out for each other and if you are able to make a donation it will be most appreciated, as COVID-19 has created a huge need for emergency assistance.
