There’s a Touch-A-Truck/Food Truck Event May 4th for United Way
When it comes to fundraisers for our local non-profits, it's always great to work the kids in. They learn about ways others are making a difference in our community while having great time with their families. The 9th Annual Touch-A-Truck and Food Truck event to benefit the Androscoggin County United Way is coming up on May 4th!
The Touch-A-Truck event will be held in partnership with Central Maine Community College, Clover Pre-School and Advocates for Children. All the fun will be taking place on Saturday, May 4th from 10a to 2p. There will be a quiet hour from 10 to 11a for those with hearing/stimulation sensitivities.
Food trucks include:
- Pinky D's
- Maine-ly Meatballs
- Alabama BBQ
- El Rodeo
- PB and Me
- Flo the Coffee Truck
- Trips Farmhouse Cafe
- Northeast Ice Cream
- Top-It
There will be trucks of all kinds for kids to climb on and explore while learning about their purpose. Bring your kids to this free family-friendly event and let them interact with many different kinds of vehicles, then enjoy a snack from one of the many food trucks. The event is free, food is not, plan accordingly.
The United Way of Androscoggin County brings together hearts and hands to create a stronger community by addressing areas of concern such as: income, health and education. Help them reach their goals by joining us on May 4th for this event, or donate at Androscoggin County United Way.
