This Central Maine Brewfest Needs To Be On Your Bucket List

Over the last few decades, Maine has really become known for our great breweries.  Because of this, it only makes sense that we would have some really great brewfests, too.

Even though nearly every community in Maine has a brewfest (or several), each of these festivals is a little different.  So, if you are a beer lover, or you just love a good summer party, it makes sense to attend as many as you can.

One brewfest that definitely needs to be on your summer bucket list is the Kennebec River Brewfest.  As in years past, the event will take place at Augusta's Mill Park.  This year's festival will happen on Saturday, August 5th.

The Breweries

This year's brewfest will feature beverages from about two dozen breweries.  This include Cushnoc, Bigelow Brewing Company, Freedom Edge Cider, Footbridge Brewery, Definitive Brewing, Brickyard Hollow, and more.

Food

In addition to great beers and ciders, there will also be plenty to eat at the event.  Some of the food vendors include Empanada Club, Brother Shucker, This Lil Piggy, Kabayan Philippine Food, and more.

The Music

It would not be a real party without great music, would it?  So yes, there's going to be live music all day.  Scheduled performers include Country Roads, The Court Jesters, and Ellis Falls
