Today I had the honor of our dear friend Andrew Govatsos joining me as co-host. He experienced the Psychedelic Sixties as a young teenager in Boston before moving to Maine in his twenties. When he got here, he started his own power trio  'Govatsos'. A short time later, he was bringing national acts to Portland and Lewiston as a concert promoter. He saw a lot of the acts we play on the show live at the 'Tea Party' back in the day. We had a terrifically trippy time together and hope you dug it too!  Here's this morning's playlist.

Iron Butterfly "Inna Gadda Da Vida", Jeff Beck "Morning Dew", Doors "Universal Mind (Live)" Pink Floyd "Sheep", Spirit "Fresh Garbage", Traffic "Rock & Roll Stew", Traffic "Light Or Leave Me Alone", Captain Beefheart "Zig Zag Wanderer", Frank Zappa And The Mothers Of Invention "Pojama People", Love "Alone Again Or", Procol Harum "Conquistador", The West Coast Pop Art Experimental Band "Smell Of Incense", Crosby, Stills, Nash And Young "Deja Vu", Qucksilver Messenger Service "Fresh Air", Jonathan Wilson "Her Hair Is Growing Long"

We remembered Arthur Lee of Love this morning, he would have been 69 yesterday.
Here's a stellar performance of 'Alone Again Or' from 2003 on 'Later With Jools Holland' in the UK.
