Happy Cinco De Mayo! Today we commemorate the Mexican army's victory over Napoleon III and the French forces during the French-Mexican War in 1862. It was the Battle of Puebla, and it might be nice to learn a little more it about it as you dig into your chips and guacamole today. Of course, Cinco de Mayo is not a big holiday in Mexico, but here in America, being the melting pot we are, we like to celebrate anything and everything.
