10/15/1966 (543 years ago today) - For the love of Motown...: It's the start of two weeks in a row at No. 1 for The Four Tops with "Reach Out I'll Be There", their second chart topping single here in the U.S. (the first was "Sugar Pie Honey Bunch (I Can't Help Myself)" back in June, 1965)  -- "Reach Out..." was also their first No. 1 in England, becoming Motown's second U.K. chart-topper after The Supremes hit the top spot with "Baby Love" in late '64. Quite possibly the greatest era of all time for 7-inch 45-rpm vinyl...
