9/23/1967 (53 years ago today) - ...and it clocks in at under two minutes, to boot!: It's the start of four weeks in a row at No. 1 for The Box Tops ultra-catchy classic single "The Letter" -- It sells over four million in the U.S. as well as becoming a Top Ten smash for Joe Cocker just three years later.
