Today we celebrate the birth of the Lizard King! James Douglas Morrison was born 72 years ago in Melbourne, Florida on December 8, 1943. Absolutely one of the most iconic frontmen in the history of rock, as the singer and songwriter for the Doors. Jim’s brief flame burned bright from 1943 to 1971.
