Fresh Eggs Daily with Lisa Steele posted the following photos on Facebook last week of her pet Geese Harper and Claudette. Apparently, the two pals were gabbing away and set off on what Lisa describes as an "unauthorized walkabout" down the driveway.

Excuse me, ladies. Where do you think you're going?

They are waddling with such purpose, they must have a destination in mind.

Here it looks like they might be getting a little tired. Perhaps they regret setting off on this adventure.

Luckily, Lisa was able to get them turned around and head towards home before the two rascals got into any trouble. No need for a wild goose chase! Some people in the comments surmised that the mischievous ducks they live with convinced them to embark on this adventure. Lisa set the record straight, and said the ducks weren't behind this plot, for once.

Once I saw these photos, the goose march song from the movie The Aristocats instantly started playing in my head.

I can imagine a Disney movie or children's book series all about Claudette and Harper's wild adventures

For now, Claudette and Harper are staying put. They are back on Lisa's farm with their other feathered friends, living the good life.
