Sometimes you just need a couple of kitties hugging.

WABI TV5 in Bangor posted this quick video of a couple of kitties hugging. I think my favorite part is what the cameraman says.

Oh my God right? That is the sweetest shot I've ever gotten.

Yes, cameraman...it is.

The hundreds of comments on this sweet short video that has been viewed thousands of times had two themes. Most thought this was one of the sweetest things ever caught on video and everyone hoped that these two kitties would be adopted together.

From what I gather, both have been adopted, but I couldn't get confirmation that they were adopted together. I can't imagine that these two were separated. They seem so bonded.

The Bangor Humane Society is a no-kill shelter. They hadn't always been. It was in 2008 that they adopted a no-euthanasia policy. They turned euthanasia around so much, that in 2016, they stopped using an on-site incinerator that was part of the original construction. These kitties landed at the right place to find a home where they can hug it out all the time.

These kitties are mine. I often find them hugging. Don't be fooled. They are not related but have bonded nonetheless. However, often a hugging session ends with swipes of paws and lots of hissing. But I swear they still very much love each other and I know they would be sad if they were separated.

Thanks to all the shelters in Maine who do an incredible job for our furry family members.
