In honor of WBLM turning 50 years old this year (can you believe it??), the station will be hosting a very special rock countdown.

Starting this Friday, May 26, the Blimp will be throwing out the best 1,029 classic rock songs. It seemed only fitting to use the same number that the Blimp has made so famous on your radio dial.

From Aerosmith to ZZ Top, Pink Floyd to Black Sabbath, The Eagles to Def Leppard, all the legendary bands and songs that you love to hear on WBLM will be counted down for classic rock supremacy. The best part is you can follow along to the countdown, while you enjoy your holiday weekend splendor.

Again, the countdown starts this Friday, May 26 at 10 a.m. Here's a closer look at the countdown schedule:

Friday: 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Saturday: 10 a.m. - 10 p.m.
Sunday: 11 a.m. - 11 p.m.
Monday and Beyond: 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. every day until the No. 1 song on this massive countdown is played.
