What Do You Borrow From Your Neighbors?
This is Mark wielding the most powerful piece of lawn equipment on our street, Mr. Todd's gas powered leaf blower! We borrow it every fall and it is a life changer. Do you borrow stuff from your neighbors? We have that kind of neighborhood. Mr. Todd lent us eggs when he and Mrs. Todd had chickens, and we borrowed ketchup from them just two weeks ago. We have lent The Todds bleach, glue and a few other things over the years. Other neighbors have borrowed our tools and even our trailer to move a piano. We are a little bit co-dependant and it feels good! I love that we can all depend on each other when a snowblower breaks, someone needs wood for a backyard bonfire or for maple syrup on Sunday morning when the pancakes are hot and someone put Mrs. Butterworth away empty.
