I was on my way to my Millcreek Shaw's, when Bull Moose pulled me into their orbit. I was defenseless! This happens to me sometimes, I will have no intention of shopping for music, but I'll see a music store and have to take a peak. I had nothing particular in mind when I walked through the door, but the Jackson Browne section caught my eye and I remembered that I wanted to replace my "Hold Out" CD. They were out, but I discovered a really cool double tribute CD set called, "Looking Into You". It's a bunch of my favorite artists covering Jackson Browne: Bonnie Raitt, Bruce and Patti, Lyle Lovett, JD Souther and lots more. Next to it was a used copy of "The Pretender". How many times can I play "Here Come Those Tears Again"? We'll find out! I have loved that song since I was 15, but I've never owned the album. For $4.97 I can hear Jackson and Bonnie Raitt break my heart and bring me to the verge of tears over and over again. Why do I love that feeling so much?!

What an amazing duo...

Jackson Browne is coming to the Maine State Pier on June 9th. I really hope he plays my tune. If you hear someone screaming for "Here Come Those Tears Again", you'll know it's me! Buy tix here. You can also buy tickets to see Bonnie Raitt at the same venue on August 19th. So many great shows are coming this summer!
