I was driving through the Old Port this morning and thought to myself, "Why do I still see so many tourists?" There were literally couples with cameras dangling around their necks on every corner.

Then of course, it dawned on me. New England is a premier autumn destination and people come from all over to look at our brilliant foliage.

With absolutely no lack of trees around here, visitors sure do love to make our neck of the woods the setting for their postcard perfect photos.

This influx of folks from away (after a brief break from summer tourism) can really do a number on us when it comes to traffic though.

Yup, it sure can be frustrating to us folks who live here. But, why get mad when we can just laugh it off?
Here's a funny song parody of The Mamas & The Papas California Dreamin' performed by New Hampshire humorist Fred Marple and company.

It expresses the irritation we all have of dealing with poky leaf peepers this time of year...in particular, Massachusetts drivers.

You might remember a while back when we featured an infomercial parody promoting the Yoga for Yankees exercise DVD.

We've become big fans of this fella from 'Frost Heaves' ever since.

Fred's stuff is always wicked funny and clean humah for the whole family.
