United Biker of Maine in Androscoggin County is hosting a motorcycle in memory of Nicholas Gage Marin who died July 3, 2020.

The event will happen on May 22 at LA Harley on Main Street in Lewiston from 10-2:30. There will be a ride, music, food, and a 50/50.

All of the funds raised will go to a lifetime fishing license for Maine kids.

According to the gofundme page to also support this event, Nicholas, who was 23, died of an accidental overdose. You can read the family's whole story here. But Nick liked to fish!

To honor him and to help another family avoid this pain, Nick's family has decided to use the support with this ride as a fundraiser. The family says on the page they wish they had bought Nick a lifetime fishing license so he might have spent his time last summer fishing and not experimenting with drugs.

The lifetime fishing license for Maine kids needs to be purchased before they are 16 years old and cost $300, and if they are under 5, it is only $150.
