Yarmouth’s Emily McKool Did Maine Proud on “Chopped Junior”.

Emily McKool from Yarmouth became a television star when she competed on "Chopped Junior" Wednesday night. I was on the edge of my seat watching a local 12 year old meeting my heros! I am a super-fan of cooking competition shows. Her competition was tough, as were the baskets, but as her name advertises, she kept her cool. The full episode should be up soon at foodnetwork.com. Emily was terrific in the first round, wowing the judges with crepes, but the second round went too fast and the cheese on her Croque Monsieur didn't have time to melt. She was chopped. Emily was very gracious and represented us all very well. I look forward to tasting her food in a restaurant someday!
