You never know what delightfully peculiar sight you might encounter when you're on an adventure up north.

One if the great things about living here is no matter where we live, the country is either where we are or a fairly short drive away.

And nah, we don't mind being in the car for a couple hours. Exploring this fantastic state is always good stuff. Here's another reason to love it.

They are making whimsical woodworks of art at Maine Rockers on the #6 Road in Philips. One spectacular piece was recently put on display near the roadside.

Imagine cruising up there from Farmington to Rangeley and suddenly seeing this unexpectedly cool sight.

It's a wooden moose sculpture carved with exaggerated legs, long and thin like a giraffe. Check it out in it's full majestic glory.
