How many rock singers can you count with voices that are about as powerful today as they were when they were in their twenties? Paul McCartney likely comes to mind first. (Have you heard him rip through "Helter Skelter" lately?) How 'bout Steven Tyler, Mick Jagger and Robert Plant? For me the voice that is strongest of all these days, would be the great Paul Rodgers! His soulful, growling wail is is a good as it gets. And he's been doing it since he was 19 as the singer in Free. Paul is 63 now, with a virtually unchanged singing voice and getting ready to release a new project early next year.
