There is an upside to hitting the mall for your hoilday shopping, an accidental work out. You can burn 15,000 calories shopping over the next few weeks. That number is just from walking! Add the extra resistance from those packages you'll be carrying and the exertion from throwing elbows and you will have worked in some suprisingly good cardio. Leave the blue light of your computer screen and go to a real store to rub against the great unwashed masses and burn off some of that Thanksgiving pecan pie. Post holiday sales are for burning Christmas calories. Maybe Santa will bring me ankle weights.
