Check Out This Hand-Typed Thank You Note to WBLM from Gregg Allman

I was searching through one of my desk drawers the other day and came across a real treasure. This is a personal note from Gregg Alllman to legendary WBLM air personality José Diaz written 30 years ago. The type-written Thank-You message was for the Blimp's support of the Gregg Allman Band album, "I'm No Angel" and is signed with a pen by the man, himself.

It reads:

Dear Jose,

I wanted to personally thank you and your staff for your help in making The Gregg Allman Band album "I'm No Angel" a success.    We will be recording again at year end for release next spring.

 

In the meantime, I would appreciate your    additional support in continuing to feature the tracks the work for you.
