Is A Tropical Storm Heading For Maine Next Week?
It’s officially tropical storm season but for us here in Maine, generally that is nothing to worry about. Every now and then, we get the remnants of a storm, dropping some rain and bringing some sick waves to the beachfront. Could that be the case in the not too distant future? Perhaps…
4th run in a row the EURO has brought a tropical system within earshot of Maine.

Keith Carson of WCSH-6 doesn’t typically tweet out something like this unless he think there’s a real chance we’re going to see something from this tropical storm. With all weather, there’s a chance the storm takes a different path or completely falls apart before reaching us BUT…what if it doesn’t?
It could definitely bring some much needed rain, and for surfers who live for the moment, some real summer thrills. Carson states that the models suggest it could arrive sometime next week (Wednesday/Thursday), so stay tuned.
