Glen Luce has been close to winning the Oxford 250 in the past, last night he grabbed the lead and the checkered flag to win Maine's richest stock car race for the first time.On lap 201 Luce took the lead on a restart and stayed in the top spot until he crossed the finish line. It was the second time he led the race but the most important as he was able to hold off Reid Lanphier to get the win and the $30,100 winners check.

Ben Lynch form North Carolina rounded out the top three while two time defending champion Travis Benjamin finished 17th after using a provisional starting spot to get  into the race.

Luce flirted with a win in 2008 when he was the runner-up, finishing behind NASCAR driver Kevin Harvick.
